Pad 6 is a project I made during my second year of studying product design at Artez Arnhem. In many aspects, it aligns with the characteristics of a typical second-year project, lacking conceptual intrigue. Nonetheless, it holds a significant place in my educational journey as it marks the beginning of my venture into stop-motion.
This project served as my introduction to the unique and disarming effects of stop motion. In a world where grandeur and speed are often hailed as desirable qualities, I discovered the impact of a process inherently slow and small. Amidst the push for bigger and faster advancements, there is a remarkable power in embracing a medium that operates at a slower pace and smaller scale.
